The first thing you’ll notice when you look down the hill from Lower Jacksons is the view over Porthmellon Beach. Spend a lazy morning on the balcony, as you take in these sea views, read the book that’s been on your list for ages and enjoy a morning coffee.

If your idea of a perfect holiday is messing around on the water, you just need to head down to the beach and you’ll find the watersports centre, whether you want to try your hand at windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding or sailing this is the place to come, or, if you prefer to take it easy and want to watch everyone else having a go you can just relax on the powder white sands and soak up the suns rays!

Fancy trying the town for an evening out, it’s only about a 5 minute walk away, where you’ll find the restaurants and takeaways, as well as a few pubs and bars dotted about, or what about treating yourself to a meal out with a difference and take a supper boat to St Martins to sample their fish and chips and enjoy the views of the sun setting over the horizon as you make your way back.

A perfect base for the whole family, after a week or twos stay here you won’t want to leave.
